In any couple, there is one individual that presents as dominant. This, again, is normal and to be expected.
As a mediator, I ensure that all parties are equally represented, regardless of their personality types.
I have tools that help even out the playing field and allow each person to express their concerns without anyone fully controlling the narrative or the outcome.
Only some people are team players at the outset. An impartial mediator, such as me, pulls the team together, helps identify common goals and drives a collaborative effort to achieve them.
This way, no one loses control, everyone is equally considered, and power games are removed.
